The Guesthouse, along with our Coffee Shop and Taqueria, are located in the heart of Terlingua’s Ghost Town, minutes from the Big Bend National Park and The Big Bend Ranch State Park in far West Texas. We are literally surrounded by a million acres of state and national parks.
Guests enjoy large terraces and courtyards with fire pits, an outdoor kitchen and extraordinary views of historic Terlingua in front of the Chisos Mountain range.

Taqueria El Milagro
Our newest restaurant, Taqueria El Milagro, is also within walking distance from the hotel in the heart of Terlingua Ghostown on Ivey Road. The dinner spot serves authentic Mexican fare plus smothered hot dogs, but bring your own beer!

Espresso Y Poco Mas
Translated: Espresso and a little bit more.
The cafe is a short, downhill walk from our guesthouse.
Once there, you’ll find coffee drinks, fresh squeezed orange juice and smoothies, but also the best breakfasts and lunches around – all with an impressive view of the Chisos Mountain Range, a newspaper, and free wifi.

Pets Welcome
La Posada Milagro is pet-friendly, so feel free to bring your dog or cat with you. There is a one-time $20 pet fee at the hotel. If you require a vet, there’s one right in town – Rio Vet and our concierge can help you with dog sitting while you visit Big Bend National Park.

Concierge Service
We are always available at La Posada Milagro for a little local advice or even some great stories. Mimi has lived in the area for 34 years and has a wealth of knowledge about both sides of the river. She and other members of the staff are terrific about sharing that knowledge. Don’t hesitate to ask questions or email us in advance with them.

Special Events
La Posada Milagro is great for special events. Mimi’s years of film production experience is handy when it comes to pulling together big events or unusual ones.
